Now you can share 100 photos and videos at once on WhatsApp

Tired of not being able to send more than 30 pictures on WhatsApp? The messaging app now lets you send over 100 photos and videos. Earlier, a maximum of 30 photos and videos could be sent at a time. However, WhatsApp has now rolled out the feature for Android users. 

The new update, WhatsApp for Android version 2.22.24.73, has increased the limit to 100, allowing users to share more media at once.

Will be able to share captions in documents

Along with the increased limit, WhatsApp has also added a new feature that allows users to write captions in documents. Previously, users had the option to write captions for photos and videos, but now they can add captions to documents shared with anyone and in group chats. WhatsApp has also increased the character limit for group subjects and descriptions to help users better describe their groups.

This feature is not introduced in WhatsApp for iOS

While the new features are currently only available on WhatsApp for Android, the company may soon introduce them for iOS. WhatsApp is testing a feature called "kept messages" for beta testers on WhatsApp for Business. The feature will allow users to keep disappearing messages, and WhatsApp is also testing transcription on iOS. Additionally, last year WhatsApp increased the file limit to 2GB from the previous limit of 100MB, but the feature is yet to be introduced in WhatsApp for iOS.
