Elon Musk has finally found a CEO for Twitter. Interestingly, the new CEO of Twitter is not a human but a dog. That's Musk's pet dog, Floki, a Shiba Inu. The new Twitter chief thinks his dog Floki makes a better CEO than "the other guy" Parag Agarwal.

Notably, Musk bought the company in a $44 billion deal and fired Agarwal. Along with Aggarwal, Twitter's legal head Vijaya Gadde and CFO Nail Sehgal were also fired.

Musk shared a picture of his Shiba Inu dog, Floki, sitting in the CEO's chair. In the picture, Floki is seen wearing a Twitter-branded black T-shirt with CEO written on it. He has some documents lying in front of him on the table, which have his paw prints on them. In front of Floki is a small laptop with the Twitter logo emblazoned on it in case he wants to shoot off an urgent email. Sharing the picture, Musk wrote, "Twitter's new CEO is amazing." In another tweet, he said that Twitter's new CEO is much better than the "other" person. He is referring to Parag Agarwal, former CEO of Twitter.

Musk also had a few chats with Agarwal and there was apparently no rapprochement even when the acquisition process had not begun. In a text to Agarwal, Musk called joining the Twitter board a "waste of time". His message to Agarwal said, "What have you done this week... I am not joining the board. It's a waste of time. I will offer to keep Twitter private."

Musk also wrote messages to former Twitter chief Jack Dorsey about his discussions with Agarwal. The leaked chats reveal that Dorsey tried to bring Musk and Agarwal together but things didn't go as planned. He added: "You and I completely agree... Parag is moving too slow and trying to please people who won't be happy no matter what he does." To this Dorsey replied, "At least it became clear that you cannot work together."

Agarwal took over as CEO of Twitter in November last year after former CEO Jack Dorsey resigned from his role. His total compensation for 2021 was $30.4 million. With Agarwal's dismissal, his decade-long association with the company also came to an end.
